On the sidelines of the “Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week” international summit, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu, according to a statement from Akorda, reported by the national portal “Adyrna.”
The Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan places great importance on strengthening multifaceted cooperation with Nigeria, a densely populated country with a large economy in Africa.
In turn, Bola Ahmed Tinubu confirmed his readiness to work together to elevate bilateral relations to a new and qualitative level.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited the President of Nigeria to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation in trade and economy, transport and logistics, energy, and agriculture.
The heads of state exchanged views on pressing issues on the international agenda and highlighted the importance of enhancing relations within multilateral frameworks.
