The President first visited the Kazakhstan International School Astana (KIS Astana). The educational institution, covering over 20,000 square meters, is designed for 800 students and 120 preschool children. The school is accredited by the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which includes three main tracks: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 5 to 10, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for those aged 11 to 16, and the Diploma Programme (IB) for students aged 16 to 19.
President Tokayev emphasized the importance of enhancing education in Kazakhstan, highlighting the critical role such institutions play in developing and nurturing the competitive edge and well-rounded growth of the younger generation.
He also visited the QazSwimAcademy sports center. According to the center’s director, the unique facility offers comprehensive training opportunities for athletes, with five swimming pools of various lengths. These include a 50-meter pool, two 25-meter pools, and two 10-meter pools. Group training sessions are conducted across 25 disciplines, and there is also a professional training gym.
