The reporting and election conference of the Democratic Party “Ak Zhol” for the Kyzylorda region was held, attended by delegates from various districts and deputies of all levels.
As a result of the conference, Bauyrzhan Sandybayev, who had been acting as the head of the regional branch, was elected as the full-fledged chairman of the branch.
Bauyrzhan Turssymbayuly is a prominent entrepreneur, a deputy, and the chairman of the permanent commission on industry and entrepreneurship development under the Kyzylorda Regional Maslikhat (local council).
Additionally, a new council consisting of 15 members was elected by majority vote.
The participants wished success to the new leadership and expressed gratitude to the former chairman, Zhorabek Prmanov, who led the branch since 2018 and voluntarily stepped down due to his busy schedule in the business sector.
The delegates also discussed the current activities of the “Ak Zhol” Democratic Party, its stance in Parliament, and its participation in President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s initiatives to involve deputies of all levels in the legislative work of the Mazhilis, among other topics.
A group of entrepreneurs from the Zhanakorgan district presented a letter of gratitude to the “Ak Zhol” Democratic Party for assisting with the construction of irrigation facilities, which ensured access to water for agricultural enterprises.
At the end of the event, party membership cards were distributed to several newly admitted members.
