Workers from a gas processing plant in the village of Kіshkene, Makat district, Atyrau Region, made an appeal to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Adyrna national portal reports, citing Ulysmedia. They claim that the plant’s management is unlawfully persecuting them.

In their appeal, the workers stated, “People of Kazakhstan, we are workers from the Qazaq Construction Group at the gas processing plant in Kіshkene. Today, we address Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. We ask for a special commission to be sent to the Eshkene gas processing plant. Our complaint is that the administration of Makat district, deputies, and the management of Qazaq Construction Group are colluding. They falsely report the plant’s progress, deceiving the public and the workers. When we voice our concerns, management retaliates by dismissing people from their jobs.”

The workers unanimously demand that certain officials be dismissed.

“On October 5, Mr. Maksat Kadyrkul, director of Qazaq Construction Group, promised to dismiss specific officials, including Director Faizulla, Deputy Muradil, Section Chief Nurbek, Security Chief Almat, Site Manager Talgat Utebayev, Labor Relations Officer Bekzat, and HR Officer Lyazzat, but he did not fulfill this promise. Workers are under pressure at the workplace. We firmly demand the immediate dismissal of these officials and request that you send a special commission,” the workers said.
