On October 29, Kazakh-Mongolian and Mongolian-Kazakh dictionaries were published, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.

In Ulaanbaatar, the renowned Altaist scholar Bazylkhan Bukatuly and Turkic Academy expert Napil Bazylkhan compiled the “Kazakh-Mongolian Dictionary” and “Mongolian-Kazakh Dictionary.” The publication of these dictionaries represents a cultural and scientific collaboration between Kazakhstan and Mongolia, realized during Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to Mongolia. Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh directly supported the release of this important work.

The foreword of both dictionaries was written by the head of the Mongolian presidential office, Gombojavyn Zandanshatar. Each dictionary includes approximately 60,000 words, meeting lexicographical standards needed for research in Altaic studies, Turkology, Kazakh studies, and Mongolian studies.

The preparation of the dictionaries for publication was overseen by Nyamkhüügiin Narangerel, PhD in philology and head of the National Language Policy Council and Office of Official Affairs under the President of Mongolia.
