“The situation regarding Kazakhstan’s withdrawal from BRICS requires clarification. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this in an interview with ‘Arguments and Facts,’ reported by an ‘Adyrna’ correspondent.
The politician noted that Kazakhstan is a member of numerous organizations, including the OSCE, CIS, CSTO, and SCO, and is an active member of the Organization of Turkic States.
‘The Organization of Turkic States pays great attention to our allies and strategic partners in Central Asia. None of this interferes with Kazakhstan’s or other Central Asian countries’ active participation in the United Nations, which is considered a universal structure but is currently experiencing a crisis. Our southern neighbors, our allies in the CSTO and EAEU, are preparing to participate in BRICS summits,’ said Lavrov.”
