By the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kegen Akhmetuly Tursynbayev has been appointed as the Vice Minister of Emergency Situations. This was announced by the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan, as reported by the “Adyrna” national portal.
He was born in 1971 in the East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the Lenin Komsomol Twice Red Banner Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School, the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
Over the years, he has served in the Republican Guard of Kazakhstan and the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• From 2020 to 2021, he worked as the head of the Department of the Committee for Consumer Rights Protection in the East Kazakhstan region.
• From 2021 to 2022, he was the head of a department in the Office of the President of Kazakhstan.
• From 2022 to 2024, he held senior positions in the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Since April 2024, he has been the chairman of the Committee for Civil Defense and Military Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
