Now the harvesting campaign is going on in Akmola region. Farmers have already pressed the first million tons of grain. Constantly dry weather allows harvesting with renewed vigor.
In the course of practical training on the total area of about 4,500 hectares of arable land, 11 Akmola college students with the specialty "Agricultural mechanization" master professional skills in the traditional harvesting campaign.
"We work with about 1,500 hectares of land, of which about 900 hectares are cultivated. Wheat and barley were planted from cereals. This fall, 66 students were mobilized in the framework of industrial practice in the agricultural enterprise base of Astrakhan district," noted Astrakhanka a. director of agribusiness and service college Valentina Putintseva.
Future mechanics will work in the farms of our and neighboring regions, contracts will be concluded with them and they will be paid for their work.
