Members of the People's Staff for the support of the construction of the Atomic Power Station headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament Maulen Ashimbayev arrived in Almaty region today. The staff includes deputies, experts and public figures. They met with enterprise collectives, entrepreneurs and local public in the region and discussed the issues of holding a referendum on the construction of nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan.
Maulen Ashimbaev, in a meeting with the regional public, drew attention to the importance of the initiative of the Head of State to hold a nationwide referendum on the issue of the construction of a nuclear power plant.
