Majilis deputy Magherram Magherramov proposed to introduce criminal responsibility from the age of 12 for some types of crimes in Kazakhstan, reported the national portal "Adyrna".

In his parliamentary question to Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov, the Majilismen said that the news about rape, beating and killing of minors by the same minors had shocked the people of Kazakhstan many times.

"Kazakhstanis are shocked by the news about the rape, beating and death of minors. Our party believes that widespread violence, deaths in the ranks of the military, and accidents that maim and kill otherwise healthy young men are a reflection of the hooliganism, violence, thuggery and criminal lifestyle rooted in mainstream schools. Children brought up in a destructive environment at school come to the army. They continue their criminal activities there," Magerram Magerramov said.
