Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram network, was released from prison in France, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to BFMTV.

"Telegram's founder was released from police custody on Wednesday, August 28, after being arrested on Saturday, August 24," the report said.

Durov spent a total of four days in detention.

Let's remind that on August 24, Durov was detained at Le Bourget airport in France. According to French media, Durov, as the founder of Telegram, is suspected of complicity in drug trafficking, crimes against children and fraud. On August 26, it was reported that Durov's detention in Paris had been extended.
