The special commission determined the fault of the employer in the group accident that occurred at the YDD Corporation LLP ferroalloy plant located in Karaganda. This was stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the People today, August 23, "Adyrna" reporter reports.
"It was found that the main fault lies with the employer. It became known that urgent measures to prevent the impact of traumatic factors were not taken at the enterprise, and control elements of safe working conditions and compliance of employees with rules, guidelines and technological order were not created at the appropriate level," the report said.
The members of the commission met with the victims and their family members and explained their legal right to social protection in accordance with the current legislation. The results of the investigation and all collected materials will be handed over to law enforcement agencies to prosecute those found guilty of the accident.
Also, the commission ordered the management of "YDD Corporation" LLP to take a set of measures to eliminate the causes of the accident and prevent similar situations in the future.
Let's remind that on July 20 there was an emergency situation at the "YDD Corporation" ferroalloy plant in Karaganda. As a result, eight workers were injured and four of them died.
