Kairat Satybaldi, the nephew of the former president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, will return more than 50 billion tenge assets to the state. This was announced today, August 15, by the Committee on Return of Assets of the General Prosecutor's Office, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.

At present, assets worth 18 billion tenge have been returned. Among them are 2 large business centers in Almaty, commercial real estate and an elite house in a prestigious district of Astana.

"USD 95,000 obtained during the search from Satybaldi was transferred to the Special State Fund. In addition, hundreds of millions of tenge worth of exclusive jewelry, branded watches, collectible coins and other luxury items, assets in the form of Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Aston Martin cars with a total value of 192 million tenge were returned from the United Arab Emirates," the report said.

In addition, the transfer of foreign property belonging to Kairat Satybaldi and his relatives is in the final stage.
They include two valuable villas in Dubai worth 20 billion tenge, four elite apartments on the French coast worth 4 billion tenge, 15 properties in prestigious residential complexes in Moscow, Russia worth 5 billion tenge, properties in Bodrum and Istanbul in Turkey worth more than 4 billion tenge. There are two elite villas and an apartment.

Let us remind that on September 26, 2022, the court No. 2 of the Baikonur district of Astana sentenced Kairat Satybaldi to 6 years of imprisonment. He was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code ("Creating property damage by fraud or breach of trust", "Acquisition or looting of someone else's property entrusted to him").
