In Kokshetau, active work continues to eliminate the consequences of the flood. The most pressing issue for local executive authorities is assistance to affected families.
The main goal is to provide housing to all citizens whose houses have become uninhabitable. Over the past two months, about 90 families have received new housing to replace the lost ones.
On the eve of the Capital Day, a ceremonial presentation of keys to 7 families affected by the flood was held in Kokshetau. 26 large families also became owners of new housing.
“Today, all residents of Kokshetau affected by the floods have been provided with housing. Each family chose their own apartments. A huge amount of work has been done in the shortest possible time. We thank the public fund “Asar Akmola”, volunteers, public figures, the deputy corps and the media for their help,” said Marat Akhmetzhanov.
