City festival "BALAFEST Jas Galym Science Quest" was held in Almaty on the occasion of Children's Day with the support of the National Academy of Sciences. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev attended a festive event during his visit. Representatives of more than 20 higher educational institutions of the city, as well as a delegation from Singapore, took part in the festival. The festival in the form of a big quest game consisting of several stages was held to draw children's attention to science.
In each of the five stages, the participants had the opportunity to collect the points received through the QR wristbands received during the registration for the quest. Each age category corresponds to the color of the bracelet and task card: 6-9 years - green, 10-14 years - yellow, 15-18 years - red. In each zone, participants must reach up to 1000 points to complete the main task.
