The currency agreement between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan has been suspended, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

According to the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the bilateral agreement has been ongoing since December 16, 1999. However, after 25 years, the agreement was terminated. It became known that the document has lost its relevance, including due to changes in the national currency in Tajikistan over several years.
