Starting from May 17, gasoline and diesel will be sold in limited quantities in the country. This day coincided with the birthday of President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, "Adyrna" correspondent reported with reference to kolesa.kz.

AI-92 gasoline and diesel will continue to be sold at the price set by the Government last spring. However, Kazakhstanis can refuel only 100 liters per day for cars and 300 liters for buses and trucks.

And for foreign drivers, gasoline will become more expensive, and diesel, on the contrary, will be cheaper from 450 tenge to 315 tenge.

Almasadam Satkaliyev, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, signed the document amending the order "On setting the maximum price of retail sale of petroleum products at gas stations with state price regulation". The document was published on May 6, 2024, and will enter into force ten days later.

From May 17, the price of fuel at all gas stations in the country will be as follows:
AI-80 gasoline — 89 tenge per liter.
AI-92 and AI-93 — 245 tenge per liter.

If you have a driver's license issued in Kazakhstan, up to 100 liters per day - 205 tenge per liter. If you have a driver's license and vehicle registration certificate issued in Kazakhstan, motorcycle, passenger car, truck, special car and bus - up to 300 liters per day - 205 tenge per liter.

Diesel (summer, off-season) — 315 tenge per liter. If you have a driver's license issued in Kazakhstan, up to 100 liters per day - 295 tenge per liter. If you have a driver's license and vehicle registration certificate issued in Kazakhstan, up to 300 liters per day for a truck, special car and bus — 295 tenge per liter.

The authorities of Kazakhstan are trying to stop the flow of fuel to Russia through fuel tanks by setting a limit.

Let's remind that before that, the government of Kazakhstan announced that it will deliver fuel to Russia if necessary.

"It was said that there are agreements on the supply of fuel with the Russian side at the government level, if necessary," the press service of the Prime Minister wrote.
