"It is necessary to pay special attention to the phytosanitary situation. The maximum natural distribution of locusts is expected in 2024. This issue should be taken seriously. I instruct the Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with regional akimats, to mobilize additional resources to determine the places of distribution of pests and to control processing operations. "All issues related to spring planting should be urgently resolved and under constant control," said the Head of the Government.
It should be noted that last year, 3.8 billion tenge were allocated for the fight against locusts in the country.
