The first autonomous underwater vehicle "Deringöz" developed by the Turkish company ASELSAN is ready for use, reports "Adyrna" with reference to Anadolu Agency.

According to the defense company, the device has a modular structure. It will be used for military and civilian purposes in the future.

"The invention of ASELSAN is an innovative technical solution ready to perform a wide range of tasks. In particular, it can be effectively used for tasks such as underwater research, reconnaissance and surveillance, mine detection, pipeline inspection, and port and base protection," the report said.

It should be noted that the device developed by Turkish engineers can work at a depth of 600 meters.
