On the territory of the USA, TikTok is going to be banned, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs has adopted the relevant draft law, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The authorities think that this will cause dissatisfaction among 170 million users.
According to CNN, 352 congressmen voted in favor of banning the Chinese app and 65 voted against.
Proponents of the bill argue that TikTok poses a threat to US national security. However, for the ban to take effect, the bill must first be approved by the Senate and signed by the president.
If the said application is completely banned in the US, then Apple and Google will have to remove this mobile application from the App Store and Google Play.
