Former Vice Minister of Culture and Sports Yerlan Kozhagapanov was arrested. This was stated by the press service of Antikor, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
"The anti-corruption service confirms that the former Vice-Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan was arrested on suspicion of committing a serious corruption crime within the framework of the pre-trial investigation.
Currently, the suspect is detained in the temporary detention center of the Almaty Police Department. The investigation is ongoing," the report said.
