Majilis approved the ratification of the agreement on aviation search and rescue operations with Kyrgyzstan, reports the national portal "Adyrna" referring to the press service of the lower house of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The Majilis ratified the agreement on cooperation in the field of aviation search and rescue between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan concluded on May 26, 2022 in Bishkek. The two countries have agreed to cooperate in the search and rescue of passengers and crew, as well as in crashed aircraft. Operations will be conducted in accordance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards and recommended practices," the statement said on Wednesday.
