Executive committee of Almaty region made large investments in the development of tourism

On December 28, 2023, an official Memorandum was signed in Almaty between the administration of Almaty region and a group of investors to support the Oi-Qaragai Resort development project and create the necessary conditions. The amount of the involved investment will be more than 58 billions tenge  until 2028. In the next 5 years, due to the expansion of the Resort, it is planned to create more than 550 new jobs with the priority of employment of residents of Almaty region. Tax revenues to the country's budget exceed 1.6 billion tenge per year.
