The real indicator of the unemployed in Kazakhstan is much different from statistical data, says Elnur Beisenbayev, the leader of the "AMANAT" faction in the Mazhilis.
According to him, the results of an independent examination revealed that unemployment is twice as high.
"The level of unemployment has remained at 5% for the next 5 years. It is clear that no one believes this indicator. However, according to independent experts, the real level of unemployment in Kazakhstan is not less than 9-10%. This means at least 900,000 people, that is, twice as many. And the funds allocated from the budget are used only to create temporary jobs, including to maintain social and economic efficiency," the deputy noted.
He also said that the standard of living of the people has decreased, and the price of food, on the contrary, has increased, and demanded that the Government take measures against it.
"The credit level of the population is also very high. For example, in 2022, consumer credit increased by 30 percent, i.e. to 13.2 trillion tenge. These funds are similar to the tax revenues coming to the budget. In other words, this indicator is an indicator of the decrease in the payment capacity of the population," he said.
