- I remember with warm feelings my visit to the Emirates at the beginning of this year and the meetings I held with the country's leadership. I am especially proud that the agreements reached serve for the benefit of the people of both countries. The United Arab Emirates is a reliable and key strategic partner for us in the Islamic world. It is a brotherly country that has been supporting us since the first years of independence. The Kazakh people will never forget this. We perceive the contribution of the Emirates to the development of the country as a bright image of friendship and close cooperation. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates and send my warm greetings to President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In turn, Sheikh Surur bin Mohammed Al Nakhayan thanked to Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev for the honor and he drew attention to the rapidly developing relations between Kazakhstan and the UAE.
