For the fifth time in a row, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools were recognized as the best Olympic team of the country at the republican Olympiad in science-mathematical subjects.
Young mathematicians, computer scientists, physicists, chemists and geographers reaffirmed the high standards of NIS with their individual and team achievements. The medal bag of intellectual schools is filled with more than 60 awards of various degrees, one third of them are gold. Almost all NIS representatives appeared from the podium.
The title of the best physicist of the country was awarded to Yersultan Pitebai, a student of the Intellectual School in the field of physics and mathematics in Almaty. Just recently, the whole country congratulated Yersultan with an invitation and a grant from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which currently leads the world ranking of prestigious higher education institutions.
Almira Nurlanova, Olympic silver medalist and member of the 2023 alumni star team, also received a grant from MIT.
Sanzhar Khamitov, who continued the winning marathon of the international IGeO Olympiad in geography last year, pleased the NIS in Aktobe with another gold medal.
