Export of onion was banned in Kazakhstan

Now onions grown on Kazakh soil are not sold abroad. It is caused by the shortage of vegetables in the country. From January 28, 2023, the order of the Minister of Agriculture on banning the export of onions has entered into force, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.

The document specifies the period of ban on the export of onions:

"Let a ban on the export of onions from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan be introduced for a period of three months."

The Ministry of Agriculture was instructed to inform the Eurasian Economic Commission about this decision.
