Relatives of a firefighter from Astana, who was injured in the fire, announced a fundraiser. The situation was commented by the official representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Ruslan Imankulov, adyrna.kz reported with reference to Tengrinews.kz.

"On the issue of raising funds for the injured firefighters. We assure that all issues regarding assistance to the injured employees are under the full control of the ministries of emergency situations and health, the ex.com. and other interested state bodies.

Minister of Emergency Situations Yuri Ilyin has just visited the hospital where our employees are, talked to the attending physicians, asked what is needed for treatment, and received assurances of comprehensive provision with everything necessary for the recovery of the fighters," Imankulov said.

During the visit to the hospital, the minister presented Ayan Kempirov, commander of the fire department No. 10, with the state award "Aibyn" of the III degree, awarded to him by decree of the President.

"We are waiting for the recovery of Askar Zabikulin, so that he will be given a well-deserved award," Imankulov said.

According to him, the social issues of the victims and their families are also being resolved. In particular, on behalf of the Head of State, Yuri Ilyin and Mayor of the capital Altai Kulginov presented the family of firefighter Askar Zabikulin with a certificate for a three-room apartment.

"The issue of solving the credit debts of both families is being considered. The housing issue of Ayan Kempirov is also under control. Moreover, if someone wants to provide voluntary assistance, no one has the right to interfere with this," Imankulov explained.

The press service of the city's public health department said that there is no need for donated blood for patients.

"The patient, born in 1994 (Zabikulin. - Note), is in an extremely serious condition, received a 3rd degree burn. He is in a medical sleep. Currently in intensive care. The condition remains serious. He is connected to a ventilator. An operation is not scheduled for the near future .

The general condition of the patient, born in 1988 (Kempirov. - Approx.) is assessed as of moderate severity," the health department said.
