"There is a case filed against the head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the West Kazakhstan region in the production of anti-corruption service. He was suspected of having signed a false deed on the completion of works worth more than 180 millions tenge. The object of major repair is the road in the direction of "Borli-Aksay-Zhympity" funded under the "Nurly Zhol" program.
Also, a criminal case is being investigated against the head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of Shymkent and other persons. Last October, they embezzled more than 747 millions tenge by wasting the state budget. Funds are also allocated here through the "Nurly Zhol" program," he said.
