Margarita Asenova, a senior researcher at Jamestown, took part in an event held at the Capitol with the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The event was called "Future of USA-Kazakhstan relations".
"Moscow's war against Ukraine has prompted Kazakhstan to review its security strategy, look for alternative routes for oil exports, find new transport infrastructure and diversify its trade bloc, mainly with Russia, to eliminate the impact of sanctions," the report was informed.
