The CNN Travel tourism portal has included Uzbek bread among the world’s 50 most delicious breads, reports Adyrna national portal.

According to the publication, traditional Uzbek bread stands out not only for its distinctive taste but also for its unique appearance.

The bread’s surface is decorated with patterns and special stamps before being baked in traditional clay ovens called tandirs.

The article also notes that the recipe and texture of the bread vary by region: in Tashkent, it is usually soft and chewy, while in Samarkand, it tends to be denser and crispier.

The list also features French baguette, Russian karavay, and Armenian lavash.
