In Malaysia, an American military aircraft caught fire while in flight

The American-made F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet caught fire and crashed in Malaysia, reports Adyrna.

According to SHOT, the bomber aircraft belonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force caught fire during takeoff from Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Airport. While in flight, the Hornet was engulfed in flames, went into a dive, and crashed.

Both pilots ejected and survived; they are currently in hospital. The cause of the crash of the U.S.-made fighter jet is still being investigated.
