Russia is planning to open a consular office in Aktau, writes the national portal "Adyrna". This was announced by Ivan Volynkin, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in an interview with the TASS agency.

"On the network of the consular department, issues of expanding our consular presence in regions with increased tourist flow of Russian citizens are being actively worked out.
There are plans to open Russian consulates in Aktau, Grodno, Cancun and Samarkand," said Ivan Volynkin.

In addition, Russia plans to increase the number of Russian embassies in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the CIS.
