Another shooting took place on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border


A shootout broke out between Kyrgyz and Tajik border guards, the national portal Adyrna reported.

According to the Kyrgyz Border Service, the shooting started on June 3 at about 12:00 in Bulak-Bashi district.

"Ignoring the demands to leave the territory, Tajik border guards opened fire on Kyrgyz servicemen. There was a shootout between the two countries, during which the Tajik side used mortars," said the Kyrgyz National Security Committee.

There were no reports of injuries or deaths. As of 14:00, clashes between border guards continue on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, Kyrgyz border guards said.
