Member of the Mazhilis (Kazakh Parliament) Amanzhol Altai has proposed establishing a “Tulpar Day” in Kazakhstan, reports Adyrna. According to him, promoting horse culture among the younger generation is a task of strategic importance. “Many countries have national days dedicated to horses. I propose officially designating a specific date in Kazakhstan as ‘Tulpar Day’,” the deputy stated. Amanzhol Altai also noted that the current school curriculum does not systematically cover the role of horses in Kazakh culture and history. “In this regard, a special module should be introduced into the school curriculum that includes information about the anatomy, care, and unique traits of horses,” he said.
