"Indeed, due to the lack of water in the Talas River, as well as unplanned hot and dry weather, the water coming to Kazakhstan from the Kirov Reservoir was not enough for the irrigated areas. In this regard, it was decided to maintain the water supply from the reservoir to Kazakhstan at the level of 45 cubic meters per second until August 1, while only 30 cubic meters of water per second was sent to the Talas dam," the press service of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
