In Astana, a snowstorm and sudden deterioration in weather conditions have led to a switch to remote learning for school students, reports the “Adyrna” national portal.
The city’s Department of Education announced that, due to adverse weather conditions on November 7, students in grades 0-7 in the first shift would move to remote learning. Snow is falling, and a blizzard is ongoing in the city. The current temperature is -5 degrees Celsius.
“Due to worsening weather conditions, students in grades 0-7 in the first shift will switch to online learning on November 7,” stated the Department.
