On June 18, 2023, the man who attacked the Kaspi bank branch in Astana was sentenced. Judge Abinur Karabayev of Astana's specialized inter-district court for criminal cases, who considered the case, said that his guilt was proven, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Alikhan Muradov was sentenced to 7.5 years of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a medium-security institution.
