President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev has sent a telegram of condolences to the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Seok-yol due to the death of many people due to floods and mudslides, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to akorda.kz.
- On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and myself, I express my condolences to you and the citizens who lost their loved ones, sharing the irreparable grief caused by the natural disaster. I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured people and the return of the missing citizens to their families, the telegram reads.
Let's remind, after a heavy downpour in South Korea, water overflowed and caused a landslide. Thousands of people were evacuated. Official data recorded that 32 people were dead and dozens were missing.
