The Women’s World Boxing Championship, held in Nis, Serbia, from March 9 to 16, has concluded. The Kazakhstan national team won 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal, securing second place in the overall team ranking, reports “Adyrna.”
The competition featured top athletes from 51 countries. Nazym Kyzaibay, Alua Balkybekova, and Aida Abikeeva claimed gold medals for Kazakhstan. Victoria Grafeeva and Eldana Talipova won silver, while Natalia Bogdanova secured bronze.
It is worth noting that the champions received $100,000, silver medalists were awarded $50,000, and bronze medalists earned $25,000.
