The governor of Almaty and Ulytau regions has been appointed by the President's decree today, the national portal Adyrna reports citing Akorda.
"Marat Eleusizuly Sultangaziev should be appointed as a governor of Almaty region. Berik Abdygaliuly should be appointed as a governor of Ulytau region," the decree reads.
Former governor of Almaty region Kanat Aldabergenuly Bozumbayev was relieved of his post as a governor of Almaty region.
