The International Paralympic Committee has expelled Russian and Belarusian athletes from the Winter Olympics in Beijing, the national portal Adyrna reported, citing the organization's official website.
"In the last 12 hours, many participants have contacted us and expressed their gratitude, for which they said that if we didn't not reconsider the decision, the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Games might end in harsh measures. "They are threatening not to participate," said John Parsons, chairman of the committee.
