Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information, Aida Balaeva, shared her thoughts on President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s statement regarding the current global economic situation on her official Facebook page, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
In her post, the Minister emphasized that the President’s words reflect confidence in the country’s future and a responsible outlook:
“President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has outlined the course Kazakhstan will follow amid global instability. Indeed, the world is facing an unprecedented economic crisis. In such a challenging time, the calm, balanced, and confident message from the head of state serves as a strong pillar of support for the people. Despite external pressure and changes, the country will continue on its path of development. This will be carried out through a systematic and clear plan,” Balaeva wrote.
She also highlighted Tokayev’s remark that “every crisis has its silver lining”:
“Every crisis is a new opportunity. The President’s words should give food for thought to every leader and member of society. In times like these, responsibility and prompt action are required from all of us. The interests of the nation must come above all else,” the Minister stated.
Aida Balaeva expressed confidence that the instructions given to the government and local authorities will be implemented effectively and called on the public to remain calm and hopeful.
“In such difficult times, our unity is our strength. The President has clearly outlined the direction. We must move forward firmly along that path,” she concluded.
