Kazakh singer wins at the “Slavianski Bazaar” contest

From July 10 to 13, the 34th International Arts Festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” was held in the Republic of Belarus. Representing Kazakhstan, singer Almagul Battalieva from the Danesh Raqyshev Philharmonic in the Zhetysu region took part in the competition, according to Adyrna.

In the final round, the singer captivated the audience with her performance of the song “Vechność” (Eternity). Based on the results of the two competition days, she scored 137 points and won the Grand Prix of the festival.

Almagul Battalieva is originally from Almaty. At the age of 14, she was admitted to the P. I. Tchaikovsky Music College in Almaty. She is proficient in several instruments, including the accordion, piano, and ukulele. Previously, she has demonstrated her professional talent in prestigious music competitions such as Zhas Kanat 2023 and the international contest Almaty in My Heart.
