Freestyle Wrestling: Kazakh Wrestlers Win Two Gold Medals in Turkey

Three Kazakh freestyle wrestlers earned medals at the international Yasar Dogu, Vehbi Emre, and Hamit Kaplan Tournament held in Kocaeli, Turkey, according to the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture, reports Adyrna.

Nurkozha Kaipanov (74 kg) claimed the gold medal, while Azamat Dauletbekov (86 kg) took silver. Rizabek Aitmukhan (97 kg) also stood on the top of the podium, winning gold.

In the finals, Kaipanov defeated Ramazan Ramazanov of Bulgaria, and Aitmukhan overcame Ahmed Magomaev, also from Bulgaria. Dauletbekov lost his final match to Ali Tsokaev of Azerbaijan.

The international tournament, held in memory of Yasar Dogu, Vehbi Emre, and Hamit Kaplan, concluded on May 29.
