The presentation of the “Alash” album, based on poems by great figures, is set to take place

On May 31, in commemoration of the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Political Repression and Famine in Kazakhstan, the presentation of the Alash music album, based on the poems of great Kazakh figures, will take place. The event will be held online via a special Facebook page, according to the national portal “Adyrna.” Composer Erkes Shakeev announced the news on his social media page. The album includes compositions based on the poems of Saken Seifullin, Akhmet Baitursynov, Magzhan Zhumabayev, and Mirzhakyp Dulatuly. The main goal of the project is to promote the spiritual legacy of the Alash movement leaders and to present their contributions to the nation in a modern musical format. According to the composer, one of the new songs to be presented to listeners for the first time is “The Heads of Grain”, based on a poem by Akhmet Baitursynov.
