Over the past day, 820 people died of coronavirus infection in Russia, according to the operational headquarters. Most of the new deaths were in Moscow - 54 and in St. Petersburg - 38 people. This is a new anti-record.
The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Russia has reached 179,243 people. In total, COVID-19 has been detected in more than 6.8 million people in the Russian Federation since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 6 million have recovered and 1,226,311 patients are under medical supervision.
