2026 has been declared the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. This was announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Adyrna correspondent reports.
According to the Head of State, the Year of the Horse will mark Kazakhstan’s entry into a new stage of modernization.
“In this year’s State of the Nation Address, I stated that we must become a digital state. Therefore, I have decided to designate 2026 as the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. Advanced technologies will open the way to strengthening our country’s potential across all sectors,” he said.
In addition, the President emphasized that small and medium-sized businesses will always remain a priority for the state.
“New enterprises will be launched in all regions, roads will be repaired, and residential buildings, schools, as well as healthcare, sports, and cultural facilities will be constructed,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev added.
