Minister of Education Zhuldyz Suleimenova congratulated Kazakhstani teachers on their professional holiday, reports Adyrna.
“Dear teachers, esteemed colleagues! I sincerely congratulate you on Teachers’ Day. The words of the great educator Ybyrai Altynsarin — ‘For me, a good teacher is the most precious of all, because the teacher is the heart of the school’ — once again affirm the crucial role of teachers as the foundation of the nation’s future. Our duty is to ensure a strong and reliable future for our country by raising an educated, honest, globally competitive, and progressive generation,” said Zhuldyz Suleimenova.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has emphasized that elevating the status of teachers as leading figures in society is one of the key priorities of state policy.
“The Head of State has instructed us to further strengthen the legal status of teachers and has set several important tasks. In this regard, together with the Parliament’s Mazhilis, we will implement legislative changes, and I would like to note that we will once again consult closely with the teaching community. Providing not only quality education but also moral upbringing for our children is a highly important responsibility entrusted to the teaching community. The active participation of parents, alongside the state and schools, is also essential in this process.
Dear teachers, happy Teachers’ Day! May your dedicated work in nurturing the younger generation bring fruitful results,” the minister said.
