Erdogan presented diplomas to Kazakh officers

In the capital of the Republic of Türkiye, Ankara, a ceremonial graduation of the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy took place. Among the graduates were nine young officers of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The distinguished guest of the event was the President of the Republic of Türkiye. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan personally presented the Academy diploma to Lieutenant Askhat Sultanakhmet of the National Guard. This event became a clear example of the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.

At the official invitation of the Turkish side, a special delegation from Kazakhstan’s law enforcement forces attended the ceremony. The delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov.

During the visit, the Kazakh representatives familiarized themselves with the training system of the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy personnel, as well as with modern methods of military education. In addition, the delegation visited the Gendarmerie Logistics Command, the training center of the JÖAK special forces unit, and the command center for communications, electronic, and information systems management.

As part of the visit, Ansagan Skenidirovich met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Gendarmerie, Army General Ali Çardakcı.

The Commander-in-Chief’s visit to Türkiye marked an important step in developing bilateral military cooperation. This trip opened the way for experience sharing, strengthening professional ties, and further enhancing interaction between the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Gendarmerie.
